  • Who are Countryco Ag Services?

    Countryco Ag Services is a chemical safety training company located in Toowoomba, Queensland. We provide face-to-face chemical safety training and courses to regional and rural businesses in Queensland and New South Wales. Our courses train people working in various industries to apply and store chemicals in the workplace safely. 


    We have more than 28 years of experience that helps us develop and deliver customised programs depending upon the needs of the business.

  • What regulations does Countryco follow to design the training and courses?

    There are some regulations in Australia that Countryco is bound to follow, and they include-

    • Queensland Chemical Usage Control Regulations 2017
    • Queensland Reef Protection
    • NSW Pesticides Act 1999 No.80
    • WorkSafe Regulations
  • How can I apply for a Commercial Operator Licence in Queensland?

    Accredited operators can apply online for a new commercial operator licence to use herbicides if they are living in Queensland. Licences are issued for 1-3 years, and operators need to choose the period in the application process. Formal statements of attainment of licence received on completing the course with Countryco will also be uploaded when applying for a new licence.

  • What is Countryco's cancellation policy?

    We abide by legislation for selling goods and services in the state or territory. The policy is as per the Australian Consumer Law. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission jointly handle the ACL alongside the state and territory consumer protection agencies. 

     

    If a student cannot attend the course on a booked date, we can transfer the registration to another day or transfer the student to another course, if available. We can only offer refunds in exceptional cases, but they are not available for just a change of mind. 


  • How can one prepare for the course?

    • There is an online pre-course module to be completed prior to your training day which will provide you with a certificate to bring on the day
    • Bring along your Unique Student Identifier (USI) which can be located or created at www.usi.gov.au
  • What to expect on the first day of class?

    The face-to-face classes must start on time, and any student arriving more than ½ hour after the start time will need to request to attend the course at the next training date. The student should bring- 

    • Pre-course certificate
    • USI number
    • A photocopy of the ID
    • Pen and calculator

    The ID includes a Driver's licence, Medicare card, passport, Australian Birth Certificate, Citizenship Certificate, Visa, Certificate of Registration by Descent.

    While dealing with the chemicals in agriculture and livestock, it is essential to do it with proper safety and knowledge. Unfortunately, not all the individuals who work in this field have enough skills and expertise to store, supply, and record chemicals.   • Why should I get my training from Countryco Ag Services?

    We aim to deliver the best training and courses as per the current Australian rules and regulations and have experience in primary production in crops, livestock, and business management. The main courses offered are designed by partnering with SpraySMART Pty Ltd to fulfil the Chemical Accreditation card requirements.

  • What are the two courses for chemical accreditation?

    • AHCCHM304 Transport and Store Chemicals
    • AHCCHM 307 Prepare and Apply Chemicals to Control Pests, weeds, and diseases

    The combined courses contain the two units for new students and refresher students as reaccreditation is required every five years. 

  • Does Countryco provide custom training?

    Our custom training and courses help gain training for your team that focuses directly on your particular industry. Courses are designed around the use of products, scenarios, techniques, equipment relevant to the specific industry. Candidates can invite neighbours to come along to get the in-house course to meet the minimum of 10 members in the course.
